The Arabic edition of "The Letters," a new book by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, will reach major bookstores across the UAE on October 1, offering readers a personal look at nearly six decades of public service.
The book is the second part of "Lessons from Life." Its English edition will follow on October 15, extending its reach to readers beyond the Arabic-speaking world.
"The Letters" brings together 26 letters addressed to different audiences. Sheikh Mohammed writes to his children, his family, his team, his fellow citizens and the world, sharing the experiences, decisions and milestones that have marked his journey in service of the nation and of humanity.
Each letter distils the values and principles behind his approach to leadership, government, human development and shaping the future. Together they trace how ambitions were turned into projects and initiatives that have left a lasting mark on people's lives.
The book is also directed at younger readers. It presents new generations with the essence of a long career devoted to work and achievement, along with the lessons that can be drawn from it.
With the Arabic edition arriving first and the English version two weeks later, the release gives readers in the UAE and abroad access to the reflections of one of the region's most prominent leaders.
