Global video game commerce company Xsolla has entered a strategic partnership with the Dubai Games Commissioner, in coordination with the Dubai Films and Games Commission, to accelerate the development of the video game industry across the Middle East and North Africa and expand global commercial access for developers.
Announced at the GamesBeat Summit 2026 in Los Angeles, the partnership brings together Xsolla’s global commerce infrastructure and Dubai’s ambition to position itself as a leading hub for game development and publishing.
The collaboration will integrate Xsolla’s direct-to-consumer storefront technology, player engagement tools, and payments network spanning more than 1,000 methods across over 200 markets with Dubai’s ecosystem-building mandate for the creative industries.
As part of the agreement, the partners will launch a joint studio accelerator programme in Dubai aimed at supporting emerging and established developers. They will also co-develop market intelligence reports on the games sector and establish reciprocal pathways for talent and studios between Dubai and global industry networks.
Officials said the initiative is designed to help regional developers scale beyond local success and compete internationally, while also attracting global studios to Dubai’s expanding ecosystem.
The partnership builds on ongoing engagement between the two organisations, including joint participation in industry discussions at GamesBeat Summit examining global trends shaping the gaming sector.
With the UAE games market experiencing rapid growth driven by consumer demand and increased investment in creative industries, both parties expect further announcements on programmes and regional activations in the coming months.
