Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) and its strategic partner Bolt have signed an agreement with Arabia Taxi to integrate 1,607 taxis into the Bolt ride-hailing platform in Dubai.
The partnership forms part of DTC’s strategy to expand smart mobility services and create a more connected, technology-enabled transport network across the emirate. Adding Arabia Taxi’s fleet will increase the number of vehicles available through the Bolt platform and provide customers with greater access to taxis across Dubai.
The integration is expected to improve vehicle availability, particularly during periods of high demand, while reducing estimated arrival times. It also aims to make app-based taxi bookings faster and more convenient for passengers.
Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, Group CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, said expanding the mobility network is focused on improving the overall customer experience. He added that partnerships with private taxi operators will allow the company to respond more efficiently to growing demand for app-based transport while supporting Dubai’s ambition to become one of the world’s smartest and most connected cities.
Rawoof Ali, Executive Director of Arabia Taxi, said joining the Bolt platform will enable the company’s drivers and fleet to reach a broader customer base. The partnership is also expected to improve operational efficiency while maintaining reliable service for passengers across Dubai.
The agreement represents another step in Dubai Taxi Company’s strategy to expand its network through partnerships with private taxi operators.
It also strengthens Bolt’s presence within Dubai’s mobility sector as demand for digital ride-hailing services continues to grow. Through the partnership, DTC aims to improve fleet utilisation, passenger convenience and service reliability while supporting the continued development of Dubai’s smart transportation ecosystem.
