The UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) and its national strategic partner CPX Holding have launched the UAE Cyber Factory, a major initiative aimed at reinforcing the country's cyber sovereignty and positioning it as a global hub for advanced cybersecurity.
The announcement comes as the UAE records more than 800,000 cyberattacks daily, underscoring the urgency to build faster, more adaptive national defences capable of protecting critical infrastructure and public trust.
The Cyber Factory will design, develop and scale next-generation cybersecurity capabilities powered by artificial intelligence, giving the UAE the speed and precision needed to anticipate, detect and respond to increasingly sophisticated threats. It is structured as a fully sovereign, integrated ecosystem, ensuring the nation retains end-to-end ownership of its digital defence capabilities.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, described the initiative as a new phase of leadership for the country. He said the UAE does not merely protect against threats but actively innovates and leads by developing technologies capable of deterring them effectively.
CPX CEO Hadi Anwar said the factory brings together local talent, advanced engineering and homegrown innovation to build a secure and resilient environment for government, businesses and citizens alike.
Beyond defence, the initiative reflects the UAE's broader ambition to develop and produce globally competitive cybersecurity solutions locally, driving a fundamental shift in how the nation approaches digital security at scale.
