The fourth edition of the World Police Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brought together over 53,000 participants from more than 110 countries—making it the largest edition to date and marking a 300% increase in attendance from last year.
Hosted by Dubai Police in collaboration with DXB LIVE, the summit ran from May 13 to 15 at Dubai World Trade Centre. It convened top-tier representatives, including six Ministers of Interior, 45 Police Chiefs, and nearly 700 diplomats, solidifying its status as one of the world’s premier law enforcement gatherings.
Spanning 140 sessions across 12 key themes, the event tackled critical topics such as anti-money laundering, artificial intelligence in policing, digital fraud, and aviation security. A total of 302 speakers and 922 experts contributed to discussions that underscored Dubai’s growing role in international security collaboration.
The summit also served as a hub for strategic partnerships, with 38 memoranda of understanding signed among police forces, tech firms, and academic institutions. More than 900 individuals competed in the World Police Summit Awards, with 12 winners honoured on the final day.
“This year’s turnout and impact have far exceeded expectations,” said Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Secretary-General of the Summit. “The summit has become a vital platform for international police cooperation and innovation.”
Key partners included INTERPOL, EUROPOL, UNODC, WHO, and NYU Abu Dhabi, which hosted an academic symposium. Leading tech firms showcased AI and smart policing solutions, highlighting the future-forward direction of global law enforcement.
Since its inception in 2022, the summit has rapidly evolved into a cornerstone event for shaping global policing strategies and reaffirming Dubai’s leadership in security and innovation.
