Airport Show 2026 will highlight the growing shift towards digitalisation, automation and sustainable technologies as airports prepare for rising passenger demand and major changes across the global aviation industry.
Taking place from 12th to 14th October at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the event will bring together airport authorities, civil aviation leaders, operators, consultants and technology providers to explore solutions shaping the future of airport infrastructure and operations.
Global air passenger traffic is projected to exceed 12 billion by 2030, with the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia expected to account for a significant share. This growth is encouraging airports to invest in capacity, efficiency, technology and improved passenger experiences.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the silver jubilee edition of Airport Show is expected to welcome more than 7,000 attendees from over 30 countries. More than 150 exhibitors and 150 buyers representing over 20 countries will also participate.
A key feature will be the GSE Zone, focusing on the transformation of ground support equipment through electric, autonomous and efficiency-focused technologies.
Global air and travel services provider dnata will support the GSE Zone. The company is deploying 800 new ground support equipment units across 10 countries as part of a US$110 million investment. It is also progressively replacing diesel equipment with hybrid and electric alternatives.
In the UAE, dnata has begun testing TractEasy EZTow autonomous baggage solutions to reduce manual processes and improve ramp safety and operational efficiency.
Airport Show 2026 will also feature several co-located industry conferences, including the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum, Airport Security Middle East, Air Traffic Control Forum and Women in Aviation Middle East Conference.
The event will provide a platform for aviation stakeholders to explore new technologies, partnerships and investment opportunities supporting the next generation of airports.
