Amazon MGM Studios has released Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, with key scenes filmed across Dubai in collaboration with the Dubai Media Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
The global release highlights Dubai’s growing stature as a major international production hub while placing some of the emirate’s most recognisable landmarks on the global screen.
Premiering worldwide on Prime Video on Wednesday, the action thriller was filmed in early 2025 under the oversight of the Dubai Film Development Committee, which was established earlier this year to support and expand the emirate’s film sector.
Starring John Krasinski in the lead role, the film also features Sienna Miller, Wendell Pierce, and Michael Kelly. The production was directed by Andrew Bernstein and produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri said the project reflects Dubai’s long-term strategy to strengthen its media ecosystem through world-class infrastructure, streamlined production processes, and creative talent development.
His Excellency Issam Kazim said the collaboration reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading filming destination while showcasing the city’s blend of entertainment, tourism, and culture.
The film features several Dubai landmarks, including Dubai Marina, Al Seef, One&Only One Za’abeel, Emirates Towers, Gate Avenue, and Burj Park.
