FUJIFILM Middle East and Africa has officially opened its new regional offices at Expo City Dubai, marking a strategic step in its commitment to innovation, healthcare, and sustainable development in the UAE.
The move reinforces the Japanese company’s goal of strengthening ties with consumers and partners across the region. The new site also houses the FUJIFILM Technology Center (FTC), which will serve as a hub for showcasing cutting-edge solutions and training professionals from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
A global leader in imaging, printing, and healthcare technologies, FUJIFILM is already contributing to the UAE’s healthcare ambitions through advanced diagnostic systems. The company is also preparing to launch AI-powered health screening centres, known as NURA, underscoring its focus on early detection and improved health outcomes.
Expo City Dubai, built as a legacy site of Expo 2020, is designed as a model for sustainable urban living and a magnet for innovation-driven enterprises. FUJIFILM’s arrival highlights the city’s growing role as a global business hub.
Japan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Ken Okaniwa, praised the opening as a reflection of the strong bilateral ties and the UAE’s strategic value to international firms.
“I look forward to FUJIFILM’s technologies contributing to better healthcare, promotion of industries, and human capacity development,”
he said.
Manal AlBayat, Chief Engagement Officer of Expo City Dubai, welcomed the move, saying FUJIFILM’s decision aligns with the city’s mission to attract pioneering companies committed to sustainability, innovation, and growth.
The FTC will offer hands-on demonstrations and training across FUJIFILM’s product lines, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and regional collaboration.
