The Ministry of Sports has kicked off its first Customer Council of 2025, reaffirming its commitment to reducing bureaucracy and enhancing service quality across the UAE’s sports sector.

Held under the Zero Bureaucracy Programme, the session brought together Minister of Sports Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Undersecretary Ghanim Mubarak El-Hajeri, and over 40 representatives from national sports federations. The initiative aims to improve government services by directly involving stakeholders in decision-making.

Dr. Al Falasi highlighted the Council as a strategic tool for innovation and user engagement, saying it reflects the Ministry’s participatory approach.

“We believe true development begins with the customer,”

he stated, stressing the importance of practical input from those on the ground.

The Minister also unveiled Sportifai, a new digital transformation platform designed to streamline processes and unify the country’s sports ecosystem through artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies.

Following the session, service development teams began reviewing proposals from federation representatives, with several being prioritised for immediate implementation. The Councils are part of a broader strategy to simplify procedures, improve transparency, and align with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision for global leadership in public service delivery.
