Digital Dubai has launched an intensive bootcamp bringing together more than ten government entities to fast-track the migration of services onto the DubaiNow app, with over 180 new services slated for integration by the end of February 2027.
The initiative is part of the Digital Shared Channels programme, a government-wide effort to consolidate public services into specialised digital platforms. The bootcamp, organised by Digital Dubai in collaboration with participating agencies, marks a key implementation step in that broader strategy.
Among the entities involved are the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Finance, Dubai Culture and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs. Each will lead the migration of their respective services in the next phase of the rollout, with additional agencies expected to follow.
Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, described the initiative as a meaningful shift in how services are delivered. He said the goal goes beyond housing services on a single platform, pointing instead to building a connected government model where entities function as one integrated ecosystem built around people's needs.
Al Hemeiri added that the effort aligns with directives from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, aimed at ensuring a smooth and structured transition to the DubaiNow app as the primary digital channel for individual services.
The push forms part of Dubai's wider ambition to enhance quality of life, improve digital access and reinforce the emirate's standing as a global leader in government services, with AI integration cited as a core component of the platform's continued development.
