Dubai Police and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster the school education system by fostering a safe and sustainable learning environment.
The agreement, formalized at the Dubai Police Officers' Club, aims to unify efforts in promoting positive behaviour and enhancing student well-being.
Key initiatives under this partnership include the Naseej Initiative, focusing on addressing negative behaviours through military, sports, and awareness training, and the School Security Initiative, which will improve safety protocols in schools. Programs by the Hemaya International Centre will further engage students in activities and courses that nurture community values.

“This partnership strengthens our shared commitment to improving safety, security, and quality of life while fostering community happiness,”
he remarked.
Aisha Abdulla Miran, KHDA Director General, highlighted the alignment of the MoU with Dubai’s Education Strategy 33. She stated,
“Our joint efforts aim to ensure a safe and high-quality educational journey, fostering loyalty, belonging, and national identity while meeting global standards.”
The MoU also emphasizes training programs for educators, enhancing collaboration through data sharing, and organizing events to promote community spirit. This partnership underscores Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in education, safety, and community well-being.
