Madrasa, the e-learning platform under Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), has joined forces with TikTok to launch the platform’s STEM Feed in the UAE, marking a significant step in expanding Arabic-language educational content on social media.
The collaboration integrates Madrasa’s extensive library—the largest free Arabic educational video collection—into TikTok’s globally popular STEM Feed. The initiative aims to make science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content more accessible and engaging for millions of Arab youth.
The agreement was signed in the presence of key representatives, including Saeed Al Eter, Assistant Secretary-General at MBRGI; Dr. Waleed Al Ali, General Coordinator of Madrasa; and Kinda Ibrahim, TikTok’s Regional GM of Operations for the Middle East and beyond.
Dr. Al Ali highlighted the move as part of MBRGI’s broader mission to expand educational opportunities and support the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which sees education as vital to shaping a progressive Arab generation.
TikTok’s STEM Feed, now live in the UAE, allows users aged 18 and above to activate it via their app settings. It features top STEM creators and trusted partners like Majarra, delivering content that is both informative and engaging.
To ensure quality and accuracy, TikTok is working with Common Sense Networks and Poynter to review all content, underscoring a shared commitment to educational integrity.
Since its launch in 2018, Madrasa has provided over 7,000 lessons in Arabic and STEM subjects, earning recognition from UNESCO and ESCWA. This new partnership further strengthens its mission to position Arabic as a language of modern learning.
