Dubai Chambers has established an Executive Committee for Agentic AI, marking a significant step in the emirate's push to integrate autonomous artificial intelligence across its private sector.
The committee's formation follows an initiative led by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, aimed at accelerating the private sector's shift toward Agentic AI. Its first meeting was chaired by H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, with H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, serving as Vice Chairman.
The committee's mandate spans a two-year transformation plan and includes approving specialised Agentic AI training tracks for Business Groups and Business Councils under Dubai Chamber of Commerce, establishing incubators for Agentic AI companies, setting up dedicated support funds, and promoting knowledge sharing across the broader business community.
Al Mansoori described the initiative as part of Dubai's proactive stance on technological adoption. The programme, he noted, is designed to enhance operational capabilities, boost productivity, and open new growth opportunities in future-focused economic sectors through an integrated support framework built in partnership with public and private stakeholders.
Al Olama framed the transition as central to Dubai's ambition of becoming a global hub for next-generation digital technologies. He highlighted that the shift toward Agentic AI would foster a more intelligent and agile operating environment, accelerate innovation, and strengthen the private sector's capacity to develop and export advanced AI solutions.
The committee's work aligns with Dubai's broader strategy to build a knowledge-driven digital economy capable of keeping pace with rapid global technological advancements.
